The 6th Annual Middletown Music Festival, August 4-6, at Middlesex Community College. The Middletown Music Festival is a celebration of local music with two stages featuring 26 local bands, and is free to the community! Folks who want to support the festival can make a suggested $10 donation and enter to win a free t-shirt or CD. The Middletown Music Festival is produced by JCherry Presents, with a grant from the Middletown Commission on the Arts, with support from WESU 88.1FM, and Middlesex Community College.

The festival opens on Friday evening at 5PM on The Pavilion Stage, with music from L.A.M.F, Terry Rand Band, Inner Worlds, Randomizer, and DapperascaL. Saturday on The Cedar Grove Stage beginning at 12 noon with Dropping Quarters, Arlene Wow, 610 Supertanker, Randy Moses, Some One You Can Xray, HannaH’s Field. Saturday on Pavilion Stage beginning at 3pm, Parallax, A Filthy Fiasco, CherrySparks Sloe Berry Jam, Off The Done. Sunday on The Pavilion Stage beginning at 11:00 am, Waberi Jordon, Kristen Larson, Murderous Chanteuse and Scarlett, Amity. Sunday on The Cedar Grove Stage starting at 11:30 am, Jay Roberts, Screaming Eagle Band, gigglejuice, Balkun Brothers, The Michael Cleary Band.

New this year are local authors Beth Caruso, author of, One Of Windsor, The Untold Story of America’s First Witch Hanging, and Katherine Spada Basto, author of, Days To The Gallows. Come meet them and learn about Connecticut’s witch history! Plus local columnist and Life Coach, Diana Rae Carr. There will be sound healing and a drum circle with Andrew Mark Prue.
